Action by Christians Against Torture (UK) is a registered ecumenical charity which runs an annual Christmas Card Campaign in support of prisoners, persecuted Christians, human rights groups under threat, prisoners on death row, etc.

Messages of support and encouragement give hope and the knowledge that they are not forgotten to many languishing in prison so often under appalling conditions. Letters and cards can often result in prisoners being released, conditions improved or cases being re-investigated. At Christmas time especially let us remember the words of Jesus, “I was in prison and you visited me”. What is for us a small act of kindness, prayerfully sent, can mean so much to someone imprisoned on the other side of the world.

This year’s list of of prisoners, etc, will be available for a small donation from the beginning of November. Contact ACAT, 8 Southfield, Saltash, Cornwall PL12 4LX or email uk.acat@gmail.com
