Light in Dark Places

Diocesan Women’s Commission

Saturday 13th October, 11am-1pm, English Martyrs Church, York.

Speaker: Anne Dannerolle a founder member of Lighthouse (an organisation which has helped 40 women to leave prostitution).

Anne is also Chair of Trustees for the National Christian Alliance on prostitution, which supports all such projects across the UK.

The session will be divided into 4 parts:

Telling the story of the lighthouse;
Discussing the practicalities of a holistic approach;
Addressing some ‘grey issues’ and how as churches we can be inclusive;
Ending with a reflection on some of the challenging questions.
