Bishop Elect Terence has expressed a desire to get to know the diocesan family as soon as possible and to this end has chosen Lent to spend extended visits to the pastoral areas – this will enable him to visit some of the hospitals, schools and educational colleges, penal institutions, religious houses, civic and ecumenical Leaders, and hopefully will celebrate one of the pre-arranged Station Masses.

These details will be worked out at a later date, but the provisional allocation of time will be:
- 1st and 2nd Week of Lent beginning Monday, 11 February, Southern Vicariate
- 3rd and 4th Week of Lent beginning Monday, 25 February, Central Vicariate
- 5th Week and Holy Week beginning Monday, 10 March, Northern Vicariate
