St Mary’s College Media Studies Students held an ‘Oscars’ ceremony to showcase their ‘A’-level production work at Teesside University on Wednesday 18th June. The ceremony began with light refreshments followed by a showing of 15 films. Students had to work in groups to produce the opening two minutes of a new thriller, including titles.
At the ceremony, students were awarded certificates and trophies for Best Film, Cinematography, Editing and Special Effects and there will be an Oscar for Best Male and Best Female Actor.
