All are welcome to join the York Carmelite Spirituality Group for a day of Marian prayer, discussion and meditation.

“Mary in the Carmelite Tradition’ is being held on Saturday December 9 at Our Lady’s Church in Acomb, York.

The day will begin at 9.30am with liturgical prayer then a presentation on the theme and a group discussion.

At noon there will be Lectio Divina Bible meditation, followed by social time. All parts of the day are optional and it is recommended for anyone wishing to attend to bring a packed or a shared lunch.

The Carmelite Order began in the Holy Land 800 years ago and offers lay people and clergy seeking God a life of prayer, community and service.
