[ Sunday July 3, 2011; 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. ] On Saturday 3rd July pilgrims led by Father William Massie, Vocations Director for the Diocese of Middlesbrough, will walk in the steps of Blessed Nicholas Postgate on the day of the annual Postgate Rally.

The walk, aided by the Middlesbrough Knights of St Columba, will start at St. Anne’s Church in Ugthorpe, leaving at 12 noon [...]

[ Sunday July 3, 2011; 2:30 pm; ] The annual Postgate Rally, in honour of Blessed Nicholas Postgate and the English and Welsh Martyrs, takes place on Sunday 3rd July 2011 at 3pm in Egton Bridge. There will be hymns from 2.30 p.m.

The Annual Assumption Pilgrimage scheduled for Sunday 15th August 2011 at Mount Grace has been cancelled for reasons beyond the Diocese’s control.

When parishioners were asked to suggest causes to benefit from donations to the Cathedral’s Charity Bowl they came up with a list of 17. The newly formed Justice and Peace Group were then asked to examine those and make recommendations.

The CAFOD Action Group at St Leonard and St Mary’s RC Church, Malton, held a plants and pots of jam sale on 4th/5th June after services for CAFOD’s efforts in El Salvador. They raised £226.00.

Sunday 8th May was an especially big day at St Vincent’s in Hull.

Not only did 24 children make their First Holy Communion, but it was also the first under the new parish priest, Fr Jim O’Brien.

The annual outdoor May Procession on Sunday 15th May at St Vincent’s Church in Hull.
