Blind Card Raises 500 Euros!

A ‘blind card’ that went round at Lourdes for Fr Paul Farrer’s bungee jump off the Transporter Bridge raised 500 Euros! The prize of £60.00 was claimed by Paddy, a parishioner of Holy Name of Mary Parish in Middlesbrough.

Rocking in Support of Baghdad Children

In a quiet moment during the recent Middlesbrough Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes the Knights of St Columba presented a cheque for £3,500 to the Baghdad Children’s Hospital Appeal, the proceeds from the ‘Rocking in the Aisles’ event earlier this year.
