St Mary’s College Media Awards Ceremony

St Mary’s College Media Studies Students held an ‘Oscars’ ceremony to showcase their ‘A’-level production work at Teesside University on Wednesday 18th June. The ceremony began with light refreshments followed by a showing of 15 films. Students had to work in groups to produce the opening two minutes of a new thriller, including titles.

Chance of a lifetime for two Ampleforth Students

Humphrey McColl, Upper Sixth, and Frankie Palazzo, Middle Sixth, recently made the journey to Newcastle to audition for the National Youth Theatre and both have been awarded places. A great achievement given that approximately 4,000 individuals are interviewed annually for only 400 places.
