St Vincent’s Outdoor May Procession

The May Procession went without a hitch and we were heartened by visitors from surrounding parishes. Following a cloudburst, which contained rain, hail and snow all at once, we were holding our breath but the sunshine lasted just long enough.

The church was a blaze of flowers and the children looked lovely.

Thousands Raised In Riverside Thriller

Mark Proctor’s team recovered from going two goals down to beat Emanuel Pogatetz and Ali Brownlee’s team 4-3 in the LOTSURF.com charity match thriller at the Riverside. And as well as having the experience of a lifetime, players contributed to a total of around £8,500 raised for two great causes.
