In the end, the visit of the relics of St Thérèse to York Minster was almost unbearably moving. Just before 2pm on 2nd October, loud applause from the long queue unable to get into the Cathedral greeted the arrival with police outriders of the vehicle carrying the relics of St Therese. Following the wonderful visit of the relics of St Thérèse to England and Wales, the saint’s relics have now been returned to Lisieux.
