A reminder to all our kind donors and helpers that the time has come to launch our annual appeal to provide hampers for needy families at Christmas. If you can spare just a little by way of donations or time to help, it will go a long way and be very greatly appreciated. Despite a long running campaign, Anselme Noumbiwa Home Office reference no. N1126839 is due to be deported tomorrow Thurs 23rd Oct 2008 at 06:15 hrs on BA flight BA 302 to Paris then Air France flight AF940 to Yaounde, Cameroon.

Congratulations to Fr Paul Farrer and pals on their recent bungee jump from the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough. The jump raised £11,000 for Zöe’s Place, the baby hospice in Normanby which offers palliative and respite care for babies and infants who have life limiting or terminal illnesses, special and complex needs.
