The pupils of St Martin’s Ampleforth are celebrating the fact that they have raised just over £2,000 during the last year for CAFOD. St Martin’s Ampleforth’s new £25k science lab was opened on 18th October 2009 Sunday by Mrs Erma-Jean Tracy in memory of her husband Tom. This new fully equipped laboratory was made possible by a grant from the Tracy Family Foundation and is part of the ongoing £2m investment programme into the school.

Well done to Trinity Catholic College, Middlesbrough which raised nearly £500 for CAFOD on Friday 2nd October with a Hunger Lunch and donation buckets on both the College’s sites.

The foods brought in for the Harvest Celebration at St Clare’s School have been very kindly donated to the Mary Thompson Fund, which supports refugees and asylum seekers in the Tees Valley many of whom receive no other support.
