Colin Hardy, who served the Diocese as acting Director of Schools and Schools’ Commissioner, was recently awarded the Knighthood of St Sylvester, Pope and martyr by Bishop Terry at a study day for priests and headteachers.

Bishop McMahon of Nottingham, chairman of the Catholic Education Service for England and Wales, was the keynote speaker.
