A photograph of the children from All Saints RC Primary School in Thirsk following this year’s shoebox appeal by Samaritan’s Purse. We collected 22 boxes this year which will go to children in Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia who really need some love, joy and smiles at Christmas.
All Saints RC Primary School held its Sports Day on 2nd July 2009.
This year, our children paid £1.00 to take part and we raised £72.00 for Macmillan Nurses.

Jenny Lowes, Recycling Officer for Hambleton District Council, visited All Saints RC Primary School in Thirsk to talk to the children about recycling.
This visit was to support the children’s learning as part of the whole school topic on the Earth.
Local MP, Miss Anne McIntosh, presented a digital camera to pupils from All Saints RC Primary School in Thirsk, given through the Tesco Computers for Schools scheme.
