St Martin’s Ampleforth Prep School are very proud of their Year 8 pupils who have achieved the best scholarship and Common Entrance results in living memory. Fr Gabriel, the Headmaster at Ampleforth College, described the results as ‘excellent‘ and is looking forward to welcoming so many talented and able pupils to the College this September.

The Year 6 pupils from St Martin’s Ampleforth School enjoyed a whole school day conducted entirely in French.

The children enjoyed a range of activities from a treasure hunt, cooking and arts activities. The day concluded with the children giving an exciting drama performance of the 1789 storming of the Bastille complete with Louis XVI [...]

Thanks to the generosity of former pupil and current parent, Peter Savill, St Martin’s Ampleforth were able to open the impressive newly constructed ‘Savill Centre’, a specially designed five classroom teaching suite. This impressive new high tech facility will be used primarily for teaching English, French and Latin to Years 6, 7 and 8.
