Sr Imelda Poole IBVM – Loreto will be speaking at Christ the King Parish, Thornaby, on Wednesday, April 6th at 7.30pm. She has been on mission in Albania for five years after many years working at grass roots in the NE of England.
She will share her experiences of working with trafficked girls, roma men,women and children and women from informal and rural regions of Albania. She will reflect on this experience in the light of the words from the Book of Wisdom: ‘Send wisdom from the Holy Heavens… to help me and to labour with me and to teach me what is pleasing to you.’Wisdom 9:10-11.
