On Tuesday 7th June, the audience at St Mary’s Cathedral were treated to an evening of spectacular pianistic virtuosity by master musician Richard Ormrod. This was the inaugural concert in the new series of recitals at the Cathedral and gave an opportunity for us to hear the full potential of the new Cathedral grand piano.

My husband and I ventured forth to the Cathedral for the recently started monthly sung Vespers and Benediction (1st Wednesday of each month) and we were really glad we did. Others seemed to feel the same as we recognised people not only from our own parish, but also from several parishes around the area.
