Aid to the Church in Need

Founded in 1947 by the Dutch Norbertine Father Werenfried van Straaten, the Charity helps the Church in need throughout the world relieving the suffering of oppressed and persecuted Christians. ACN is involved in thousands of projects throughout the world: refugees are helped, churches rebuilt, seminarians trained, Bibles printed, priests and religious supported and the Faith broadcast to the spiritually hungry.

Our only assets are the promises we make to the poor and persecuted believers. You can help us to keep these promises by your donation or legacy. Aid to the Church in Need is a universal public association of the Catholic Church, directly dependent on the Holy See, providing pastoral relief in Eastern Europe, China and throughout the world.
