Another year has passed and our pilgrimage programme continues, Lourdes in May, Rome in early October and now we look towards our annual pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady in Walsingham on 31 October and 1 November.
This will be the fifth year we have been together in recent times as a diocesan group; they have been wonderful experiences and certainly this will be another spiritually uplifting experience for everyone. It is particularly good to see some of the younger parents taking the opportunity of an injection of spiritual nourishment to take back to family life at home.
This year we will travel on the morning of Saturday 31st October and return in the evening of 1st November. The cost is £76 per person which includes transport to Walsingham, accommodation at Elmham House, an evening meal on Saturday with breakfast and lunch on Sunday. We have secured 85 places, most double/twin rooms, some single, and rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so get your application in as soon as possible to be assured of the rooms you prefer – this year there is even some ensuite accommodation available at an extra cost.
We look forward to seeing our regular pilgrims and, if you haven’t been before, we warmly encourage you to come and share this very worthwhile experience at the shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham.
