Following the sad news of the death of the Duke of Edinburgh, a book of condolence will be placed in the porch at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Cathedral in Middlesbrough for those who wish to sign it.
There will also be a portrait of Prince Philip on display, as well as a flower arrangement.
Due to Covid-19 requirements, the book will only be available for a short time before and after daily Mass and during the service and you are asked to bring your own pen.
Bishop Terry will offer 10am Mass at the cathedral this Sunday for the repose of Prince Philip’s soul and for the royal family.
