Series Of Events Examines The Common Good

The Benedict XVI Centre at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, is holding a series of four events exploring the common good.

Three will be held on Zoom, with the final one an in-person event at St Mary’s, Putney.

The events are a collaboration between the Benedict XVI Centre at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, Together for the Common Good, Caritas Social Action Network and the Centre for Social Justice.

The first subject is “The Common Good: What does it mean?”, with Philip Booth, Sam Bruce and Jenny Sinclair in conversation with Professor Ruth Kelly.

Future speakers will include Lord Maurice Glasman, Ruth Gledhill, David Goodhart, Edward Hadas, Richard Harries, Lord Syed Kamall, Danny Kruger MP, Mercy Muroki, Cristina Odone, Trevor Phillips, Caroline Slocock and Julia Unwin.

The subjects are the common good and the family, the common good and civil society and the common good and the role of the state.
