The weekly Mass at the Lady Chapel at Mount Grace has been temporarily suspended because of the new national lockdown and the worsening Covid-19 pandemic.

A Vigil Mass is usually celebrated at 3pm each Saturday, but this will not take place for the present time, taking into consideration the chapel’s small size and its location.

The decision to suspend Mass will be reviewed as circumstances change and the chapel will remain open for private prayer.

Public acts of worship are allowed to continue as one of the exceptions to the lockdown rules introduced imposed this week.

However, some churches may take the decision to suspend their usual Masses and you are advised to check with your parish before attending services.
