On 2nd November, All Souls Day, parishioners from Our Lady and St Benedict, Ampleforth commemorated their dead with a Mass and with hundreds of candles placed on the graves.
This is the second year of a venture to commemorate those buried in our churchyard, a venture greeted enthusiastically by Parish and village and which we hope will become a tradition.
