Forty six left St William’s on a pilgrimage to Holy Island on 26th June. A lovely Mass was held in St Aidan’s Church, celebrated by Fr Nunan and we were lucky to have Pauline, who played the keyboard for the hymns.
After lunch, some walked to the Castle, others to the Priory and to the Lindisfarne Centre where an interactive version of the Lindisfarne Gospels are held.
The day ended by calling in at Seahouses for fish and chips.
