St William’s, Dormanstown Outing

A group of 50 left St William’s on 7th August for a mystery trip.

It had been raining when we left but on reaching Richmond, where we stopped for coffee, it was a lovely sunny day. Some had been speculating on where we were going but when we arrived in Hawes for lunch, it was a nice surprise. After a good look around, some had a nice walk to sample the cheeses at the small factory where Wensleydale cheeses are made.

Leaving Hawes, we stopped at Brymore Creamery for ice cream, near Masham, before heading home. In all it had been a very enjoyable day.
