Anselme – help urgently needed!

The following message has been received from Cath Ramos of Justice First. We are very worried that Anselme will be deported into mortal danger and would urge everyone to do what they can to save this man. Many of you will have heard Anselme speak at St Clare’s and other churches.

Dear friends of Anselme,

Anselme arrested last Wednesday, removal Wednesday 21st at 6.30.

Please send a letter of support (sample letter here). I suggest faxing where possible because by e-mail they do not even acknowledge for days. At least a fax arrives in an office and creates piles of paper!! Send on e mail to others. Get hard copies signed to fax.

Anselme’s online petition is probably not as important as sending this letter but if you wish to sign here is the link www.ipetitions.com/petitions/anselme/

The charter is a private one, so will have paid for a departure time and will get precedence.

We continue to try to get more evidence for lawyer. Please contact anyone you can with influence.

Catherine

Please can you send this letter, or your own version of it, to Alan Johnson.

Contacts: Catherine Ramos 07940 666906 and Jackie Fearnley 0779 1479309 – and if possible e mail the campaign to let us know of letters sent: Jackie.fearnley@beevitalpropolis.com

Please do emphasise the fact that the Home Office cannot in any way guarantee Anselme’s safety if they return him. Thank you.
