Archbishop Wilson to give Bishop Dunn Memorial Lecture

Archbishop John Wilson will be the speaker at this year’s Bishop Dunn Memorial Lecture.

The event takes place at Ushaw on Tuesday March 8, with drinks at 5.30pm followed by the lecture at 6pm.

Archbishop Wilson, who is from the Archdiocese of Southwark, will speak on the subject of “Is the Gospel Really Good News? Catholic Evangelisation and Catechesis in the 21st Century”.

This lecture is held annually in memory of Bishop Kevin Dunn, the twelfth Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle. It is presented as part of the Ushaw Lecture Series.
