The children of St Gabriel’s have taken part in two fundraising events this year. The first of these was the ‘Walk Around The World’ sponsored walk held on 8th October. The rain poured but this did not dampen the children’s and staff’s spirits and we managed to raise £818.21.
We added to this with our Lenten effort ‘Go Green for CAFOD’, held on 8th February. The children wore green clothes and took part in a sponsored spell or letter recognition for the youngest pupils. A further £820.66 was raised bringing our total for CAFOD this year to £1640.87.
