A number of practising and prospective Catechists in the southern parts of the Diocese expressed disappointment that the first course of ‘Wellsprings’ didn’t have a cohort based in Hull.
The good news is that we plan for the Catechists’ Foundation Course to begin this coming September at a venue in the Hull area. It will involve a commitment of 14 evening sessions, followed by a Day of Reflection and commissioning in the summer of 2012.
I’m incredibly excited about ‘Wellsprings’ beginning in Hull, but it will, of course, be dependent on sufficient parishioners wishing to participate. If you think that you might be interested, please talk with your parish priest.
Leaflets, with full details of the course and booking arrangements, will be in the parishes by the beginning of June – please look out for them.
