‘Did I really agree to do this?’

The awful truth seems to be dawning on Fr Paul Farrer, parish priest of the Holy Name and St Thomas More in Middlesbrough, as he contemplates leaping from the Transport Bridge in June.

Fr Paul will be 40 later this year and is planning, along with some friends, to make a bungee jump from Middlesbrough’s most famous landmark as part of his plan to raise £40,000 for charity to mark his fortieth birthday.

This site has a special section ’40@40′ where you can find out about Fr Paul’s plans and events. The final total will be announced in November at a gala dinner. Tables are selling out quickly so don’t delay booking yours!
