Adore celebrates 50 years with a special day of renewal

The Alton Day of Renewal (ADoRE), which has helped thousands of people to renew their faith, is planning a special celebration to mark its golden jubilee on Saturday October 25.
Bishop of Portsmouth Philip Egan will start the day with Holy Mass and international renewal leader and author Charles Whitehead KSG will give the main talk.
The Filipino Choir, who sang at King Charles’s coronation concert, will lead praise and worship. There will also be opportunities for adoration, confession and healing prayer ministry.
The event is at St Bede’s Church, Basingstoke, but there is also the opportunity to take part online.
The theme for the day is “pilgrims of Hope: The path of prayer”.
ADoRE is a monthly meeting of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, dedicated to the encouragement of a personal relationship with God, through Jesus, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Formed in 1975, it is one of the longest continually running charismatic days of renewal in Britain.
