This year’s annual conference for the Flame of Love of The Immaculate Heart of Mary Movement UK takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Ampleforth Abbey from Friday August 2 to Sunday August 4.
The conference is an opportunity to learn more about the movement and hear from speakers including Colombian missionary Marino Respreto talk about their love for Mary and Jesus.
“The Flame of Love of The Immaculate Heart of Mary is for all people and Our Blessed Mother and Jesus has given us a mission to help her to spread her Flame of Love – Jesus himself – across all humanity,” said national coordinator Liz Ansah.
“This great grace is received through opening our hearts to receive Jesus and to have the wish to pass this flame to others. We do this by prayers and intention.
“These prayers, the Unity Prayer and the Flame of Love Rosary, were given to us by Jesus and Our Blessed Mother via the Hungarian mystic Elizabeth Kindelmann.”
The Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Movement in the UK has grown from strength to strength since a cenacle (faith sharing) prayer group started in Birmingham in 2022.
More than 300 people attended last year’s conference and thousands of Flame of Love prayer cards have been given out at events across the UK.
This year representatives have been speaking in parishes across the UK and in schools and prisons. They also attended an international conference in Singapore and met leaders from around 40 countries worldwide.
Online cenacle prayer groups now take place every evening, Monday to Friday at 7pm.
There are physical cenacles across the UK in parishes in cities including London, Birmingham, Sheffield and Glasgow.
Liz said all are welcome to attend the conference.
“Come and ‘receive The Flame of Love and pass on to at least one more person’, as Our Lady requested to Elizabeth Kindelmann on April 13 1962,” she said.
