Conference puts women at centre stage

Women at the Periphery Taking Centre Stage is the title of a National Board of Catholic Women conference at Ushaw College, County Durham.

The event takes place from Friday November 25 to Sunday November 27 and a wide range of speakers will address subjects including prostitution, Catholic Social Teaching, learning from one another and building synodality together.

The conference will focus on issues that affect women, but it is open to all. There is no cost, but contributions will be gratefully accepted. You can come for the day, the weekend or one of the sessions.

To book, email Barbara Cookson at nbcwtreasurer@gmaiI.com

The National Board of Catholic Women works in solidarity with women from all walks of life to support and empower them to be effective witnesses to the mission and the work of the Holy Spirit in the global Church today.
