We were delighted to celebrate the ordination of Father Douglas McKittrick to the priesthood at St Mary's Cathedral on Saturday April 29.
Bishop Marcus's first ordination in our diocese, it was a joyful and grace-filled moment for our diocesan family.
We give thanks to God for Father Douglas, for his vocation and for his generous response to the Lord’s call to serve the Church and his people as a priest.
We also thank his family, friends, formators and all who have supported and prayed for him along the way.
Please keep Father Douglas in your prayers as he begins his priestly ministry, that the Lord will bless him with wisdom, compassion and faithful service in the years ahead.
