A special day of prayer for young people and the mission of our Catholic schools will take place on Monday May 24 – the Feast of Mary, Mother of the Church – as part of the Rosary Stronghold Mission.
Its aims are for the Rosary to be prayed in our schools that day and for the faithful to pray for all young people and their intentions and for the mission of our Catholic schools.
May also marks a month-long Rosary Mission with the theme Rosary Stronghold with the Holy Family linked to the Walsingham Shrine.
There will be a nightly online Rosary at 8pm, led from shrines and parishes throughout the UK.
In addition, there will be three National Days of Prayer…
Monday May 24, Feast of Mary, Mother of the Church: A Rosary Day of Prayer to pray for schools, youth associations, groups, young people and for families.
Sunday May 30, Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity: National Rosary Relay Rally throughout the dioceses of England, Wales and Scotland. Bishops and dioceses across the country will take part.
Monday May 31, Feast of the Visitation: Bishop of Paisley John Keenan will host a Crowning Rosary online at 8pm.
