Dedication of new extension at Endsleigh Centre

Yet another milestone in the progression of Endsleigh House was marked on Wednesday 14th April when Bishop Terence Patrick marked the opening of the new reception area, giving his blessing to the whole building and on all the activities conducted in it. He included in his blessing all the staff and volunteers who helped Sr Catherine make it all work. The reception was well attended by some hundred or so of the friends of Endsleigh and was well supported by many priests and religious from around Hull and, of course, by a number of Mercy Sisters from around the country.

The new reception area adds yet another attraction to the facilities at Endsleigh, catering for conferences, weddings and funeral receptions and a whole host of activities that enrich our pastoral life here in Hull and are also used by the local community. All the improvements at Endsleigh are a tribute to the energy and enterprise of Sr Catherine, but pose a big question! What is she going to do next?
