A beautiful collection of meditations by Anthea Dove with music by Val Goldsack and featuring the George Herbert’s poem ‘Love bade me welcome’ has recently been released.
This collection of music and meditations, scripture and prayer on this CD leads us to rest in the peace of God’s enfolding love. This love consoles and nourishes us and yet impels us to look beyond ourselves: in wonder to the glory of creation and in compassion to the suffering of our sisters and brothers: the refugees, the childless and all who struggle on the margins of our society. Profits from this CD will be donated to the Justice and Peace Commission.
The readers and singers include the later Fr. Tony Storey, Chris and Anthea Dove, John (a refugee), Sr Monica Butler RSM, Val Goldsack, James Swinhoe, Steve Goldsack, James Conwell and Bernadette Murray.
