Music for the Mind presents a carol service for people living with dementia, their carers, families and friends on Monday December 13.
Tea, coffee and homemade cakes will be served in St Mary’s Cathedral hall from 2pm with carols in the church from 2.30pm.
Chris Tinkler and Dot Fellowes are also available to present Dementia-Friendly awareness sessions to any members or groups in your church.
“We appreciate there is already a lot of good work in ensuring people with dementia can access church easily, feel welcome, large print service sheets, clear signage and many other steps that can make attending church easier for someone living with dementia,” says Chris.
