Congratulations to Mick Campbell who has been awarded the Benemerenti Medal by Pope Benedict XVI for his dedicated service to Middlesbrough Diocese, in particular to the Lady Chapel at Our Lady of Mount Grace, Osmotherley.

Mick has also been responsible for delivering the Catholic Voice to the parishes in the Diocese for nearly 30 years. Bishop Terry was delighted to be able to present Mick with his medal during a Mass held in the Knights Club to thank the Knights of St Columba for all the work they do in supporting events held by the Diocese. Mick will be celebrating 50 years membership of KSC later this year. The Mass was concelebrated with Fr John Paul Leonard (Sacred Heart), Fr Dom Damian Humphries (Mount Grace) and Fr Gerard Robinson (Chaplain KSC) and attended by members of KSC Council 29 together with Mickís family and friends. The evening continued afterwards with drinks and buffet which was enjoyed by everyone.
