On Monday 1st November, the eve of All Souls Day, the Parish of Our Lady and St Benedict’s, Ampleforth, commemorated in traditional manner its dead parishioners and all others buried in its graveyard, placing lighted candles on each of the graves.
At Mass on All Souls Day, the Parish prayed for these loved ones. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
