On Saturday 26th September, the SVP held a festival at English Martyrs, York to celebrate the Feast of St Vincent de Paul. One hundred and twenty members attended from all over the Diocese.
Bishop Terry celebrated Mass and in his homily urged the members to follow St Vincent’s example in carrying out their work.
After Mass, there was an excellent and informative talk by Fr Pat Cope about his work with the prison service.
