Three Wise Men from the east arrived in St. Andrew’s Parish, Teesville on January 6 just in time for the end of the 9.30 am Mass to celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany.
They spent time worshipping the new born King along with shepherds who had arrived earlier after being told by a chorus of angels of the birth of the infant. The three wise men presented the infant with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. They then left very shortly after to find a different way home to avoid King Herod after they had been warned in a dream that Herod wanted to kill the infant.
