In September 2010, I moved up to Middlesbrough and joined the Middlesbrough Youth Mission Team. We are a group of young people who have given a year to God by serving the young people of our Diocese. We spend our time together in community; living, eating, praying together, and preparing for when we go out into parishes and schools in the Diocese to share our faith with other young people.
We have all found this year of commitment to be fun, fulfilling, sometimes hard, but always incredibly rewarding. For those in the team, all living costs are provided, and team members receive a small living allowance. If you are wondering what to do in September, and are interested in giving a year to the team, please get in touch!
