Members of the UCM in St Aelred’s Parish in York have been busy knitting blankets for our Lourdes pilgrims during lockdown.
Requests went out over the parish’s WhatsApp for any spare wool people had and arrangements were made for delivery.
The ladies then knitted the squares for the blankets, which were collected and delivered to the ladies who were stitching or crocheting them together into blankets.
They have now gone to Middlesbrough in readiness for the next pilgrimage to Lourdes.
