The children of St. Martin’s Ampleforth School have raised £200 for the Loreto Convent School in Kolkota India.

This is a school for young girls catering for all children, including orphans and those from the slums. One of our pupils, Marguerite Henriot, age 11 from Gilling East, will be spending her Christmas working with the children in the school.

Many other pupils from the school have written letters and sent presents to the children of Loreto. “I am really excited about going to India” said Marguerite.
