Bishop’s Secretary – Full Time (35 hours per week)
Salary: In the region of £24,000 with pension contribution

Based at the Curial Office, Linthorpe, Middlesbrough
A rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and professional secretary/PA to undertake the role of Bishop’s Secretary in the Diocese of Middlesbrough.
The Bishop’s Secretary supports the Bishop of Middlesbrough in all his day-to-day business.
This involves a range of secretarial support functions including diary management, travel arrangements, arranging and taking meeting minutes, keeping electronic and paper files and dealing with correspondence.
The Bishop’s Secretary also provides comprehensive secretarial support and diary management for a number of senior officers at the Curia, particularly the Vicar General and the Chief Operating Officer, and is a key point of contact for directors of the diocesan Trustee Board, arranging and attending diocesan Trustee Board meetings.
The Bishop’s Secretary also plays a key role in the administration of the Curial Office, working with the other administrative staff to ensure the efficient running of the office.
The role would suit a confident, enthusiastic secretary/PA ideally with experience at director/senior management level.
