What?

2010 marks the 350th anniversary of the deaths of St Vincent de Paul and St Louise de Marillac. In their day they befriended many vulnerable people and helped them to transform their lives. Their work continues worldwide today through the many organisations and groups belonging to the Vincentian Family. Throughout 2010 the Family will be remembering and honouring these two great saints through:

  • liturgical celebrations
  • events to foster the development of its members
  • projects to benefit vulnerable people

When and Where?

One of the events being held in Britain is the celebration of Holy Mass at 2.00 pm in the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King on Saturday 24th April 2010.

The chief celebrant will be Archbishop Patrick Kelly.

Before Mass, from 11am-1pm, there will be an Exhibition in the Cathedral Crypt showing the works of the various branches of the Family. Teas and coffees will also be available here and it will provide an informal venue for meeting and chatting with other Family members. It promises to be a wonderful gathering so spread the word!

The Cathedral holds 2,400 people and we want to fill it – Please come along!
