The Youth Group from St Andrew’s Parish, Teesville, will perform the Voices of the Passion on Wednesday 13th April 2011 in St Andrew’s Church, Fabian Road, Teesville, starting at 7.00 pm.
The Voices of the Passion is a different and youthful way to portray the events leading up to the Crucifixion of Christ told through the testimonies of those who witnessed the events and music.
You will hear the Voice of Betrayal from Judas; the Voice of Denial from Peter; the Voice of Adoration from Mary Magdalene; the Voice of Cowardice from Pilate; the Voice of Faith from Dismis; the Voice of Hate from the angry mob and the Voice of Doubt from Thomas.
After each Voice, a symbol will be laid in a garden at the foot of the Altar and at the end, everyone will have a chance to light a candle to place in the garden.
The Voices of the Passion is an excellent way to prepare for the most important feast in our Liturgical Calendar, the Resurrection. It starts at 7.00 pm on Wednesday 13th April in St Andrew’s Church, Teesville and everyone is most welcome.
