A Seminar followed by short Q & A then workshops led by Nikki Rummer – V – day 2009 focus on violence against women in Eastern Congo and Director Professor Jill Radford PhD MA – University of Teesside Gender Violence and Gender Justice Group

There will be a short film about Panzi Hospital Bukavu which treats female victims of war and rape in the Democratic Republic of Congo

There will also be personal testimony from women seeking sanctuary in the UK
