CAFOD Middlesbrough Pilgrimage

26th June – 2nd July 2011

Plans are underway for our pilgrimage towards celebrating 50 years of CAFOD in 2012 and to link in with the CAFOD Leeds pilgrimage and CAFOD Hexham and Newcastle pilgrimage to Holy Island on 9th July 2011.

Starting at Osmotherley on 26th June and finishing at Whitby on 2nd July, the route passes through Hutton Rudby, Stokesley, Middlesbrough Cathedral, Redcar, Saltburn and Runswick Bay. You are invited to join us for some or the entire 50 plus mile route, at any point, for as long or as short a period as you wish. We need help with accommodation for a small group of pilgrims who will be walking the entire pilgrimage and hospitality along the route.

There will be services of prayer and reflection along the way and pilgrims will be happy to visit any schools or parishes as they journey along. If you are interested or can offer any help and support, we would love to hear from you! Contact David or Carol at the Diocesan Office, (01904) 671767 or e-mail middlesbrough@cafod.org.uk
